A typical day for a child at Gan begins with a warm welcome by our directors and teachers.
Children walk into their classrooms ready to start their day, hanging up their backpacks, washing hands, and coming to sit together for a community snack.
After snack, children begin their ‘work-cycle’; a time to explore the materials and lessons of the classroom. During this time children might work independently, with a teacher, or a peer. Always guided by their caring teachers.
We believe outdoor time and fresh air are essential for the development of the whole child, and we provide daily experiences for outside play.
Lunch is provided by families, packed in a lunchbox :) After lunch we get ready for nap time, a cozy and soothing time where children will get the chance to rest and sleep. Once nap is over children organically awake and get ready for a closing activity before pick up.
In addition to our typical day, we offer weekly specials such as Art, Music, Yoga, and Cooking!
Teachers are always available at the door, and we believe in open communication to help foster a strong home-school connection.
